A before picture is always good.

Most of the "stuff" ended up in Jon's old room.

The playcloset got a pile of stuff too.

Joe's room became our workroom.

Before we started that project, I put some new tile down in the bathroom. *

After ripping up the carpeting, the floor needed some attention.

Under the carpet lurked a major glitch in our plans. The floor was actually two floors divided by a cluster of center support beams. *

Since we had to order some different flooring and it wouldn't arrive till considerably later, we decided to work on other parts of the job first -- beginning with the windows. *

We took them completely apart and put in new ropes so they actually function like windows are supposed to.

While patching the ceiling, we chopped out the part that always sagged down and fixed it.
